Here are some ideas to help you build your Credit Unions for Hunger Relief fundraisers. Remember, you aren’t limited to this list, you can get as creative as you want. Have fun and make a difference.
BINGO Squares
Selling BINGO squares is a fun way to encourage employees and members to contribute to the Campaign. Post a new BINGO card in your branch either daily or weekly and challenge employees and members to purchase a square. You can have cards for employee contributions only, member contributions only, or both. How long will it take your credit union to win at BINGO??

Coloring Sheets
Hunger Relief coloring sheets are a great way to get children engaged with the initiative. Sheets should be sold at a low price point to encourage children to make their own donations. Once a child completes and returns a coloring form to your credit union, display their artwork in your branch. These sheets are a great way to get young members engaged in the fight to end hunger in your state!

Change donations (members are asked to “round up” and donate their change for Hunger Relief)

Recognizing a graduating high school or college senior on a credit union’s electronic sign
Silent auction at your annual meeting
Guess how long it will take to melt a block of ice in the summer
Guess what’s in the jar contest or any other creative guessing game that pertains to the season.
For example : Guess how long it will take for the snowbank to melt in the credit union’s parking lot.
